Our proven methodology

1. Investigation

  • Develop a strong understanding of your Employer Brand so that we can effectively position you to candidates
  • Consult with you to understand of the strategy, culture and objectives of the business
  • Complete a role description and person specification and with respect to the latter document, ensure that we have fully defined and agreed the essential and desirable criteria against which candidates will be selected and assessed
  • Write a candidate brief that tells your “story”, highlighting the position held in the sector and sells the role and opportunity.  This document is critical to attracting the very best people who are not looking for a new role and converting them into enthusiastic candidates
  • Agree the search populations and produce a comprehensive target list of organisations

 2. Candidate Sourcing

  • Our Research function makes contact with candidates on the agreed target list
  • Represent your brand proposition with all candidates on the list
  • Develop referrals and recommendations from the market
  • Utilise our wider network of stakeholders, database and interim managers to generate additional candidates
  • Develop and submit a longlist of potential candidates


3. Assessment

  • Conduct evidence first round interviews with the agreed longlist candidates where we would not only explore their professional experience but critically, their attitudes and behaviours against your competency model
  • Submit a shortlist for discussion comprised of CV’s and detailed candidate reports including interview notes and commentary on their suitability for the role encompassing areas of strengths and areas for development
  • Optional psychometric testing using SHL OPQ32r adds value to the selection process and enhances the identification of the best fit applicant
  • Schedule the shortlist meetings on your behalf

4. Selection and Offer Management

  • We work with you to manage the selection process as the shortlisted candidates’ progress through the final stages of the assessment process
  • Undertake detailed reference checks with a minimum of two relevant referees and present results
  • Undertake candidate due diligence as required, including qualifications, Eligibility to Work and CRB
  • We help you create an attractive offer package to present to the candidate
  • We take care of the offer management process
  • We communicate regularly with you and your preferred candidate throughout the process
